Dance

Fullerton Union High School

Fullerton Union High School (FUHS) is a destination for the Performing Arts in Fullerton and the surrounding community. Dance is one of many things we do exceptionally well. The Dance curriculum focuses on learning a variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, social dance, tap and musical theatre. Our more advanced courses increase their technicality while diving into dance composition and performance production.

HIGHLIGHTS

FUHS DANCE MUSIC LINKS

My favorite arts teacher is Andrea Oberlander because she pours so much into all levels of dance and works to welcome as many people into dance as possible. I agree with her belief that dance education should be accessible, and I love that she educates her beginner students on dance history, because it is just as important as the steps themselves.
