Troy High School

Vocal Music

Troy High School Vocal Music is dedicated to fostering musical literacy, vocal health, and performance excellence among students of all experience levels. As part of Troy High School's Visual and Performing Arts Department in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, the program offers a progressive pathway of choral ensembles—ranging from introductory choirs to competitive and auditioned performance groups like Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble, and Ladies First. Through regular concert seasons, regional festival performances, and campus collaborations, student vocalists develop technique, confidence, and lifelong artistic appreciation in a supportive community.

“My favorite Arts teacher is my show choir director Mr. Henson, because he believed in me even when I didn’t fully believe in myself. He pushed me to take creative risks and strive as a performer, Being able to grow in his teaching and care has been one of the best things I have ever received in my life.”
