OCTOBER SPOTLIGHT: BREAKING BOUNDARIES THROUGH ART: HOW A LA VISTA SENIOR IS REDEFINING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT or La Vista School senior Alexys Guerra, art isn’t just a personal passion. It is a platform for self expression, leadership, and problem solving. His selection to the National FFA Band reflects years of dedication to his craft and shows what students can accomplish when given creative freedom. "Art is my way of showing my worth, my abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and dedication to work," Alexys explains. "When people see or hear my work, I want them to have a new perspective on what students can achieve without limitations." Beyond his own achievements, Alexys finds inspiration in helping his peers succeed, using his growth as a communicator to uplift those around him. He credits his artistic training with reshaping how he approaches challenges, proving that complex problems always have creative solutions.
